Thank You To The Police

Hi Everyone

Two days to go to the UK Election and I want to say a huge thank you to the armed police on our streets, maintaining our way of life. They are truly ‘Britain’s finest’ and make me feel so safe.

However, the media is being unfair to keep saying that the attackers at London Bridge were known to police.  Even their own families did not know what was happening, as in the Libyan father of the Manchester attacker, who initially said that it could not be his son. I am not repeating his name; it is too shameful  to remember.

Theresa May has done a fabulous job talking to people on the ground and answering their issues. In retrospect it will be seen as a phenomenal achievement in such a short time.  In hindsight, she was right to avoid the television debate on 31st May, which she could see descending into farce.  Besides seven against one is unfair odds and having to constantly justify herself would indeed have been a waste of time.

I have made that most personal of all decisions and I want to say to all women: it is imperative that we vote, as the evil people in our country want Sharia law. I know that our security services and agencies protecting us, will come through with honour.

I wish you well.

London Attackers Shot In Eight Minutes

A few hours ago, I switched on the television to see another terrorist attack had happened in London last night, on another bridge.  The attackers used a vehicle like the first time in March, when we were all incredulous that such a tragedy could befall us.

Londoners and tourists alike were enjoying a warm Saturday evening in June.  Now seven lovely people will not be going home and fifty are injured.  Take, if they can, some of the love sent out by Ariana Grande, Coldplay and other acts I didn’t see at her returning concert in Manchester tonight.

It was a startling, amazing concert and a roaming TV camera picked out emotional young faces in a huge crowd.  The musicians spoke of love uniting us.  So let love be an ideology that we all share in the civilised world.  As each star gave a heartfelt message to Manchester, it emanated from the TV and must have flooded the hearts of all of the people there.  Each of them will spread the love and that’s what makes us win.

The solution?   Eight minutes.  Eight minutes, very fast elimination of the threat and three dead attackers.  This country of ours has been brilliantly protected by the police and Security Services for many years, which I have taken for granted.  During an election and having to protect MP’s, it turns out that there have been too many cuts.  Please put more men on the beat; it makes us feel safe.

In the meantime, could the police:

  • Please erect temporary steel mesh barriers along the pavements of all of the bridges?
  • Computer-check each car’s number plate as it enters the bridge. It will slow the traffic but it is fast prevention and possibly deterrent.

To the people affected, I am terribly sorry it happened.  To Britain’s finest, thank you.

The Losers Bring Britain Together

Hello, this post comes out with a heavy heart.

Our whole country feels sadness today, for those caught up in a shocking attack on Manchester, one of our greatest cities.  Mancunians are a breed apart: teenagers who are funny amongst themselves, yet who stand together against the world. And they care. That’s why we saw the people on the streets last night offering free taxis, water, food.

“Yes, love …” says it all to strangers and friends alike.

The tweeter earlier dealt the perpetrators a stunning blow in a nutshell.  That person said the Evil would always be thought of as Losers.  That is a teenager speaking.  It is followed here: The Losers.  Do not say where they come from or give a name to any who claim responsibility, as they crave publicity.

The Losers have claimed responsibility quite late, too late. It is obviously one person acting alone who has built a bomb and detonated it, quite forgetting to inform anyone.  Unlikely, therefore not a four-person cell?  Military acting alone?  Unlikely.  It must be Losers who seek to destroy lightheartedness, because they are afraid of freedom.

They will be caught.  We do not want them in British prisons.  Much infamy is bought in there.  Contract a prison to the Americans.  There is no freedom in their jails.  Put them on the bleakest, coldest, wettest isle of the British Isles.  Let it be shut down. No journalism allowed.

But today we mourn for lives lost young and older alike. We pray with mothers who have missing children.  We pray for the wellbeing of those in hospital.  Surely, if we all wish together and if we thank all Emergency Services and Intelligence Services for their swift response, it will make them feel better after seeing horrific sights and we can remember the victims in life. To bury a child is the worst scenario for any parent.  But any member of a family taken in such a way makes all relatives sad.    The act is done.  The Losers have sickened and appalled us, but it will bring the British together much more than any election could have done.  They lose again.

PS The European Union in Brussels has hung its flags at half-mast.  Thank you; it means a lot.
